1. Unscrew the fixing screw (A), move the positioning stop ruler (B) to adjust to the required paper size, and then tighten the fixing screw.
2. Pull the upper blade (movable blade) outwards as shown in the figure to disengage the movable blade from the safety lock of the fixed blade. Remember to lock it back in place after use to prevent accidents (such as children cutting their fingers while playing).
3. Align the left side of the paper with the stop ruler (B) and the top side with (D), and make sure it is fully aligned so that the paper won't be cut askew.
4. After completing the above three steps, hold the paper down with your left hand and grasp the handle with your right hand to make the cut. The entire cutting process is then completed.
